ok, i asked this before, but really never got an answer, well not the one i wanted, lol. all the topsy turvy cakes i see have the same shape. is there a cake pan for these cakes, it can't be everyone cuts their cake in the same shape and size, there must be a pan. if so does anyone know where to get them. thanks to all who answer. keep on bakin icon_biggrin.gif

The cakes are cut at an angle. It may appear that all of them are the same. If you haven't already, take a look at the article and tutorial for these cakes in the articles section.

wilton makes a topsy turvy pan, but i think a lot of people actually just carve their cakes. here's the wilton pan. dunno if this would actually be better than the carving and stacking. if u try it let us know how well it works

The Wilton pan is for a flat cake (2" deep) cute, but probably not quite what you wanted.

I dont think anyone makes the whimsical cake pans, Never came across any.

They have worked out really good for me. I actually have an extra set. My sister in law was going to buy a set, but she's not going to anymore. I am thinking of selling them on ebay.
