ok, i asked this before, but really never got an answer, well not the one i wanted, lol. all the topsy turvy cakes i see have the same shape. is there a cake pan for these cakes, it can't be everyone cuts their cake in the same shape and size, there must be a pan. if so does anyone know where to get them. thanks to all who answer. keep on bakin
The cakes are cut at an angle. It may appear that all of them are the same. If you haven't already, take a look at the article and tutorial for these cakes in the articles section.
wilton makes a topsy turvy pan, but i think a lot of people actually just carve their cakes. here's the wilton pan. dunno if this would actually be better than the carving and stacking. if u try it let us know how well it works

The Wilton pan is for a flat cake (2" deep) cute, but probably not quite what you wanted.
Did anybody link you to the tutorial last time?

They have worked out really good for me. I actually have an extra set. My sister in law was going to buy a set, but she's not going to anymore. I am thinking of selling them on ebay.
