My family learned how to fend for themselves Pretty Quickly!!! 
My Husband just said yesterday that he and his brother were going to hack into the site and give it a virus to shut it down!!! 
(would never really do that)
Of course I Immediatly came to everyone's defense saying that these wonderful Cake decorators would be at a complete loss w/o their site....My Husbands response...
Ya, well Husbands all over the world would be thanking me!!!!
My silly hubby, doesn't he know I'd *hurt* him...

That's just too cute!! I never saw this either. I think it was well said for everyone that comes here. I'm now to the point where I can keep up with everything else and have my cakecentral, too. (yay!!!)
It's funny how you feel when you are posting in the forums. At first, it's like "this is kinda cool"...then...."I want to be a regular member".....then..."I want to be a frequent member"....then..."I want to be an addict!!!".....Yeahhhhhhhhh!!!!! I made it!!!! I was so excited every time I achieved a new status. (I'm such a dork!!!) 
I never clicked on it but it's sooooo true. I can really relate. When I first found this site 2 years ago my family and my job suffered. My boss kept saying "cakes again" everytime he passed my computer, but now I have it all under control. (Well most of the time I do).

Ellyrae told me she wrote another poem when the site was down for a few days. She said we could find it in the archives but I have trouble finding anything particular. If anyone finds her second poem, please post the link.

so true... I don't even think it's been a month since I found this site but I'm addicted. It started with reading the cake disasters... and then favorite-ing pretty wedding cakes.
Whenever my boyfriend complains that I'm looking at cakes again, I mention his car forum... 
he loves his car, I love to make cakes. So it works
