I am stacking a cake. Each section is 2 layers. They are square and the sizes are 12, 10, 8, and 6. I am using the plastic seperater plates. My plan was to use dowel rods but can I just use the large plastic dowels that fit on the feet of the seperator plates? My plan was to stack the 12 and 10 cakes togather and then the 8 and 6, then transport them to the reception and assemble them all together there. Can I do that?

Should be fine - just don't forget dowels between the 10 & 8" layers. You didn't mention them, but I'm sure you planned to use them. But just in case, thought I'd remind you..... thumbs_up.gif
