I just cannot, for the life of me, figure out something to do for hubby's 24th birthday this saturday. I'm having a bunch of our friends over, and the food is already bought, so everything is taken care of...besides the cake!!!
I'm driving myself crazy...normally I come up with ideas by myself just fine..but not Matt, I just don't know!

His hobbies..what little he does actually have, are Playstation (he loves final fantasy and kingdom hearts, etc.), playing pool. My gosh, I think that's it.
He's an aircraft refueler in the Air Force...and that's pretty much it. I want to do a more "adult" cake but, lots of children will be here.

Any ideas? Please?! usaribbon.gif

Weel, you could do something like a pool table. What about his car? Could you do a cake to match that? Or you could do something that represents a character from the video game he likes to play....

hey rara...
allow me a moment or two of silly fun.

since you are in alaska ---

an igloo?
polar bear(s)?
dog sled?

a mix of the above -- such as:

>polar bears trying to move into an igloo
>polar bear relaxing in dog sled driven by another polar bear.
>polar bear playing pool
>dog team pulling sled w/ BIG package labeled new playstation games
>polar bears playing playstation game.
>polar bear pilot in jet

(although in real life not really all that "cute" as cake polar bears would be and fun for all)

--------------------

a cake that looks like a big warm (electric?) blanket for those cold nights?

"official" orders from the "brass" to have a happy birthday?

---------------

also agree with others that pool table would work or character(s) from one of his fav. games.

Wow Doug, I wish I could have come up with all those ideas myself! They're perfect! I LOVE the idea for official orders to have a Happy Birthday. That's it!

Thanks! I'll update with pictures!
