I didin't want to post this until it really happened but I'm busting with excitement.
I got a call from one of my school chefs, they had done some gingerbread houses for the Director who's doing the commercial for winter campaign for Publix supermarket.
The director didn't like what the School Bake club did for him, and the school will be closed for the holiday weekend, so they can't do another set...so...Chef called me and asked me if I would be willing..
HELLA YA!
I sent the director the gingerbread house that I posted here and he LOVED it...gave me some changes, the roof actually, which is nothing.
I just have to find my old Gingerbread Cookie cutter!! YIKESSSS! and they need them done by MONDAY!! 
DOUBLE YIKES!
SO...hopefully I get my dough and icing made today...and maybe Sunday I can spend the day decorating so they can pick them up Monday so they can start filming on Wednesday.
I will let you guys know if the gingerbread house you see in the commercial is mine!! He..he he..
I wonder if edibles get residual checks? hummmmmmmmmmmm!??
