Hi sweetie and welcome to Cake Central...I'm not to sure about changing the sizes once you have your picture saved...but you can change their size when you save...

when you upload to your computer, there is a drop down menu ( not sure where ) where it asks you how you want to save the photo.

You can also, email the photos to Jackie or Heath..they run things around here and they can resize and then post them for you.

I had many photos be to big to post in my topics and I just uploaded to the galleries and they were nice enought to find them and place them in the thread.

Not much help, I know..sorry...but hopefully some wiser heads can help you more!

Welcome again!

I'm not the best at this either, but I think you can downgrade the quality of the photo in your photo program. Somewhere it should ask about quality, ie. the number of pixels, that is the place you can reduce the number to be sent. I've had to do it in my program, "Adobe Photo Shop" and have been successful. Good luck and keep baking! We all look forward to seeing you photographs.

You are very welcome. And as RisqueBusiness said, if you still have trouble, just contact Jackie or Heath. I am sure they can help you get your photos uploaded.

If you are using Photoshop, make sure to use the SAVE FOR WEB option when saving. This will make it alot easier to upload to the server as the file sizes will be small.

Most versions of Microsoft Office come with a basic program called Microsoft Photo Editor. When looking at the photo in photo editor you can resize them by clicking "Image" and "Resize". You can then choose what percentage of size of the original image, or go by pixels. HTH!! (Many other programs work this way, too, or have a similar feature!)
