Can I Refrigerate This Cake?

hi everyone.. im doing a cake for thanksgiving, which is on monday.. but i have to decorate it on saturday.. cuz i have plans for my birthday on sunday.. would it be alright if i fully decorated the cake on saturday and then placed it in the fridge for sunday and a bit of monday?

the cake will be yellow cake with skor bits, caramel filling (from condenced milk) and buttercream icing.. and it will have chocolate peices on the outside..

any help would be greatly apriciated!

I always refrigerate cakes after icing them.I just take them out in the morning or a few hours before they are eaten,just to get the chill off and they're fresh as if I just made them.I do that with cakes iced in MMF,Buttercream and Fondant.I've never had a problem or complaint...only compliments on how fresh and moist they are. icon_smile.gif
