I was supposed to have dinner guests tonight (Friday). Last night I made the cake and covered in fondant. They aren't able to come now until Sunday. Will my cake still taste fresh?? I hope so because it took forever to make. Thank you all for your great advice.

If it is totally covered with fondant or BC, it should be just fine. When you start cutting into it and inside parts get exposed that is when you end up with it drying out.

If your worried, put it in the fridge. I think it will be just fine thought, especially being covered in fondant.

do not put in fridge, if it is covered in fondant. it will stay fresh (unless it has perishable filling) if left in a cool area.
