Hi,

I usually add 1 box a pudding per 2 boxes of cake mix, reg amount of oil and milk in place of the water, and it works great for me. However, I was wondering if you could use prepared pudding in place of just the dry box mix? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

wolfley29 uses this recipe:

1 egg
1 cup flour
2 snack pack pudding cups (ea. 3.5 oz.)
(Flavor depending on cake mix.)
1 cup granulated sugar
1/3 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp vanilla or other flavoring

This info was taken from "How do you doctor your cake mixes":

You could use the liquid required (for the recipe) to reconstitute the dry pudding that you normally add.

But I don't see how that would change anything; it would just add an additional step to the cake making process.
