It just so happens I made this cake today for a display. I used 6" and 10" rounds. I realized by the time I finished that if I did get an order for this cake I would need to charge quite a bit for it. First, advice... if the cake is being taken somewhere after decorating, don't put the towers on the top until it gets there, there is no way to support that largest one and make it sturdy, it's just too tall! Second, I charge $1.75 per serving on wedding cakes, so that makes the 6" & 10" part of it $84.00 + the $19.99 cost of the kit brings us up to $103.99. Now keep it mind you need to cut out 285 little flowers, cup them and add a royal icing dot and leaves to them. You have to ice the cones on the towers and accent the windows with more flowers. I was moving along pretty well, and still spent over three hours just doing all that! I think I will price it at $125.00, you can compare the per serving price with your own and see what you come up with, but take my word for it, it's VERY labor intensive!!!

I just made this for my granddaughters birthday... IMHO, I would first saw off the bottom of each turret... It was a nightmare trying to put them in the cake... I think that would make it much easier. I will be doing that the next time I make it.
I totally agree, do not put the turrets on until the cake is in it's final "resting" place...
Definately nothing under $100.00...
