Who Has Used A Mirror For A Base?

I just bought a round 18" mirror with a beveled edge..............I thought that would look neat as a base..........has anyone ese used mirrors before?

yes .... but I still put the cake on a cardboard because you don't want the mirror scratched when the cake is cut.

i put the cake on mirror i never broke the people like see some of my pictures

I have done it, too ... I have a couple of them in my photos. I think it really adds a nice touch to the cake. thumbs_up.gif
