Everyone From Hawaii (Honolulu Area) That Decorates Cookies!

I live just north of Toronto, Ontario (Canada) and was contacted by a bride in Honolulu about doing cookies for her wedding on Oct. 2/07.
I was willing to try shipping them and we even planned a test run for this coming week - but I just contacted FedEx and they want almost $60 CDN to ship 4 cookies!!!!!
If you are interested in a small wedding cookie order (50'ish) please contact me and I will forward your information to this bride.

The cookies she wants are 3.5" rectangles with the ACDC logo but instead of the lightning bolt she wants double silve rings.

i shop through the post office and it costs about 8 for 2 dozen cookies. and they give me the boxes for free
i did a wedding for a girl in california in november. she ordered 150 cookies

i'm sorry i would love to do a cookie order but i am only a home baker and for the past year i have taking care of my mother at home who is very ill. i have had to cancel on several graduation & birthday orders because of very close calls with my mother's health. i explain my situation to everyone first - it wouldn't be right to give this kind of anxiety to a bride. thanks for thinking of me though.

thank you, everyone for your well-wishes. and yes - kneadacookie, you should contact getfrosted for the bride's informatrion. you create gorgeous cookies! i think the shipping from getfrosted is so high because she is in ontario. i ship cookies to the mainland all the time using the priority flat rate box. i can fit 25-30 cookies in that box for only $8.95 shipping.
