Has anyone ever tried making brush embroidery pieces separately from the cake? I'd really like to make some ahead of time instead of having to do all of that piping at the last minute. Any tips or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Laura

I think brush embroidery is usually done directly on the cake. However, you could cut out the shape you are doing on a flat piece of fondant, brush embroider on that and then attach it to the cake later.

I don't think it will look as nice those.

Just a suggestion....
