I make my own, but have never put it in the fridge. Did you check the bottle to see if it says? I wouldn't think so, it's just oil, flour, and Criso. icon_rolleyes.gif

The recipe is just equal parts of oil, flour, and shorting. I make it up in 2cup batchs, and I use generic brands for making this.

I do 2cups all-pupose flour, 2 cups veg. oil, and 2 cups Wal-Mart shortings. Throw it all in the kitchen aid or you can stir until mixed, it'll get smooth and creamy. Store in a plastic container.

I make my own Pan Grease and love it. My cakes never stick at all. The only difference is , I flour the pans after I put the release on them. Its just a thing of mine.It work well

I will have to try that recipe. Cake release can cut into the profit margin lol. I do not refirgerate mine.

I use it, and I haven't refrigerated it. It still works great, so I wouldn't imagine it would have to be.
