I made the butter cake recipe and it turned out really dry compared to what im used to. Has anyone else had this problem??? I made the white cake last night, and I will see how it tastes when I eat in tomorrow. Also, my sister wants the cake that is on the cover, their signature cake I guess. Has anyone made this? I have never made a tilted cake and any help would be greatly appreciated!

I have not made the butter cake, but I have made the white cake and the chocolate cake and both turned out pretty well, especially the chocolate cake, which was really moist. I really like the white cake with the cookies and cream filling. The lemon mousse filling is also excellent, although I did not make the lemon ginger cake to go with it because I have not been able to find crystallized ginger around here. I have not yet attempted the tilted cake but their instructions make it sound easier than some of the other methods I've seen.
