I'm so sorry...I have so many questions but so far you have all been a great deal of help. I want to try 'painting' on details to my decorating but have no idea what to use for this...or where to get it?

Also, to color fondant, I know color paste is better. Where do I get this?

Again, so sorry for being a nuisance!

TIA

re: painting...the same colors you use to color buttercream (BC) thinned w/ lemon extract or alcohol (vodka or everclear) until easily "paintable". Can also, for a shiny stained-glass effect, used colored piping gel -- again colored w/ the same colors as for BC

fondant: same colors used for BC and painting.

many here, self included, swear by the Americolor brand -- which CC just happens to sell. Tho' you can get "acceptable" results w/ Wilton colors, but not as good as w/ Americolor.

and keep those questions coming -- that's how you learn!!! thumbs_up.gif
