New to the forum here and looking for some help. I am making 2 standing bunny cakes for an upcoming wedding (2 weeks from today). The bride supplied a William-Sonoma cake pan that forms the 2 halves of the body that are "glued" together once cooled to have the cake stand up.

I made a practice cake today and a few hours after decorating, the tail fell off! An hour later, the ears fell, and then finally the head. It looked like a little bunny massacre! icon_eek.gif

Any suggestions would be much appreciated! icon_smile.gif

It could be the type of cake you used. I know with most stand up cakes you use a denser type of cake like a pound cake. I would try a different type of cake before getting to worried. HTH

I don't know the specific pan, but if it is wide enough you could put a skewer or dowel down through the head.
