I had major spine surgery last october 31, 2006. Me & my family are going to celebrate my one year spine surgery anniversary, but I wanted to make a special cake for my surgeon & his staff.

Was wondering if anyone here knows how I would make spine cake detailing a few vertabrae along the way!!

Well, if you made a spine it would be a long skinny cake, so how about making it look like an x-ray?? A blue or black sheet cake with fondant pieces cut out in the shape of vertebrae??
