Ok so I did a quick search in the yellow pages and didn't find much. There seems to be a store in Auburn Maine, whihc is not far from Portland but I would call first and make sure they have cake supplies. If they don't they might be able to suggest a store that does. Anyway the name of the place is Caldwell's Wedding Plus Party Store

I live not to far from Bangor, ME and I go to this shop quite often. I'm not going to say that there is a lot but she does have some items you may be looking for.
