I know this has been discussed many times before, but what's the best way to defrost a cake? It hasn't been filled or iced yet. I have it double wrapped in plastic then in foil.

you can either defrost them in the fridge, or on the counter. i take of the foil and leave them in the plastic wrap when i defrost on the counter.

Thank's Diane - it won't dry out if defrosted in the fridge?
