Will melted chocolate seize (sieze?) if I add liqueur to it?

TIA!

see this page.

it's like making a ganache.

heat the liquid first so that it is warm enough to melt the chocolate and then begin adding the chocolate to the warmed liquid.

if done carefully, you'll have a very nice liquid chocolate blend at the end.

A little and yes, a lot and no - you will have ganache.

It's going to partially depend on your ratios, if you just want enough to flavor yes it will seize. I don't know if it will blend in to a larger quantity of liqueur, I'm pretty sure you could flavor ganache with some though.
