Hi Everyone,
Just wanted to know if the Wilton cookie sheets can be placed in the dishwasher.
Thanks

I wouldn't. I have heard stories of people who put cake pans in the dishwasher, and they lost their shine and finish. I like mine to be shiny and easy to use, and if they lose the smooth finish, I think they'd be harder to clean the next time.

I use parchment paper on my cookie sheets also, so they're not hard to wash off - maybe a bit greasy, but nothing baked on.

I get the parchment at GFS (Gordon Food Service). 50 pieces that are sized to fit full sheet pans are less than $4.00, and I think the cookies bake more evenly with it, plus I don't have to worry about breaking them when I get them off the cookie sheet.

I know, that's more than you asked for, LOL, hope some of it helps!

Laura.

Thanks Laura,
I'm glad I waited for a reply. I use parchment paper too. It's the best, isn't it? I just ordered some stones from The Pampered Chef and am excited to try baking the cookies on them.
