Suggestions - September Cookie Club Theme

Since I am anti-school theme, I keep thinking Alice Cooper
SCHOOL'S OUT FOR SUMMER!!!!!!---when do ya'll go back, our's has been back for almost a month--yeepee DS is back in school--but now i have to get up early again

hey sounds like fun can I join? Baking is what I do to relax...so I bake usually a couple batches a week. However I have only made rolled cookies maybe twice in my life. Any pointers for me?

Hi Letabug - Welcome to CC!
Anyone is welcome to join us making cookies!! Take a look at the thread titled "August Cookie theme" (in the cookies forum) and you'll see the "rules" and you can take a look at this months cookie entries. It's loads of fun to see what everyone comes up with. There's lots of inspiration to try something new.
I think I might like to give it a try.
Are there a certain amount of cookies to make, or is just one okay?
I'm pretty new at this.
I used to hate making roll out cookies, but now armed with the NF sugar cookie recipe and Antonia's icing, I really am beginning to love it! There will be a lot more of the decorated cookies in my Christmas cookie packages this year!
Oh, and I'm laughing at all the Alice Cooper comments. We just saw him at Summerfest last month. He's still got it too! He had the audience enthralled! Made me feel 18 again!
man--it ticks me off when i can't find a topic----this one that i watch & reply to--so i go looking for it this morning in 'watched topics' & it's NOT there--so i go to 'cookies' & again IT'S NOT THERE--dang it--i finally had to go to MY FORM POST & look through what i had posted yesterday to find it---what am i doing wrong people--arrrrrrrr--it makes me mad---so i guess know that i've found it, i can see no more suggestions have been made----
