**how Do I Make A Auto Lift Cake?** Help

I was ask to make a auto lift only. The kind you see at fix it shops that hoist you full car up. It's for the manufacter of the lifts. I got no clue how, but for some reason told this lady, "I'll come up with something" Dang, what was I thinking! I'm stumped!

I'd use a column for the main 'lift' hydraulic, and then possibly cardboard, pastillage, or maybe a sugar or shortbread cookie for the part that holds the car up (the part that looks like an H).
Aside from that, a nice light gray would do for the 'floor' of the garage, and some tools scattered about, maybe even a little fondant toolbox or something. I might even go so far as to make an additional structure, that of an upright toolbox, one of those that takes up half the wall. You see those a lot in garages.
If you're feeling frisky, you could actually do a small car cake on top of the lift, but if it's the lift itself that should be the focus, I'd stick with having just that.
One of my good friends is trying to get it together to open his own garage. You've just given me an idea for a cake for his grand opening! ![]()
But yeah... google auto lifts to find out what most of them look like, and just take it from there.
Good luck! I'd love to see it when you're done! ![]()
