Is it possible? I'm using MMF.
I've got to make some little cutouts (stars) and I need them to sit up straight in a blob of icing. Is it possible to get the MMF to dry out enough (cake due on Saturday) for that or do I have to use gumpaste instead?

I made baby booties out of MMF a few weeks ago. I just add a teaspoon or so of gum-tex to a fist sized ball of fondant. So far it was worked out great for me.

I know that some people add about a tbsp gumtex to a batch of mmf to help it set faster and harder. that might help.
