Can anyone tell what size pans were used on the cake below. I thought I had it right now I am not so sure.

I'd say the top is 6" and the bottom is 8" or 9".

It looks to me like a 6 inch and a 10 inch - of course, I could be wrong, but it looks like more than a 2 inch separation from the larger layer to the smaller one. It also appears that the smaller layer may be towards the back of the large layer too.

Very sweet cake!

I am attempting to replicate this cake and I made a 6" and a 10" but they don't look right, don't think I'll be able to get that cascading rose effect, still want to do the basketweave because it is so easy but I don't know what to do about the roses, this is a huge bummer.

Here's a suggestion: PM the person who made that cake, and ask her how she did it. Ask for the cake sizes, and ask how she did the cascading roses. thumbs_up.gif
