I have just made a vanilla and butterscotch cake using actually butterscotch liquer!! icon_razz.gif

Smells divine icon_biggrin.gif ............. now I just need suggestions for a filling and frosting.

BF suggested chocolate but I am worried that chocolate filling and frosting may be to much. icon_rolleyes.gif

What do you think?

Hmmmm, good question. My first thought was cream cheese but now I'm thinking maybe not.

filler: if you want to carry the butterscotch tast on you could use butterscotch pudding, or vanilla pudding maybe

Momkiksbutt, I ended up doing your suggestion and filled and frosted with chocolate ganache. icon_biggrin.gif

Tasted the cake and it was beautiful thumbs_up.gif Thank you for the suggestion.

BF took the cake to work today and I got a call from his CEO who also runs a cafe asking if I would supply to them. icon_eek.gif

Had to decline icon_cry.gif due to study commitments, however did agree to do all the birthday cakes for BF work. icon_lol.gif
