I'm going to a womens meeting at my Pastors house on Sunday. Everyone was told to bring their favorite fruit dish, except me. I was told to bring cakeballs & brownies with ganache. I was flattered that everyoine loves them so much.
so, I started baking my brownies today. I know it's early, but I have to study for a math test. I made my brownie batter as usual. Bake & take out the brownies, cool, try to remove. All 24 stuck. Yes, it's the mini cupcake pan. I have used this pan for several months now, nothiong has ever stuck. So, I clean & dry the pan. Put in a secong batch. Yep, they all stuck too. Any advice to why they might be sticking. I'm not doing anything different. My family is excited, because they get to eat the brownies that have stuck.

Is it supposed to be nonstick?

Did you grease the pan?

I always use cake release in all my pans, even if they are non stick. I found that my pans I use a lot, even if they are non stick, wear out over time. So a quick swipe of cake release and I"m fine.

The coating may be wearing off...

Always spray your pans with Pam - even if they are non-stick.

no advice, but if you have any leftover "stuck brownies" send them my way! seriously try the Pam/cake release and if they stick again just mail them to me...no sense in your family going into sugar overload icon_lol.gif

Have you thought that maybe your family has sabotaged your pans so they can get the "mistakes". My husband worked at an icecream store in High school and they ate the mistakes (mostly made on purpose!)

If you want a use for the broken brownies, I use them for pie crusts for pudding pies. Simply grind them up in a food processor, press them into a pie shell and bake 10 min. Fill with chocolate pudding and top with whipped cream. Yummy. icon_biggrin.gif

Sounds like a series of unfortunate events!! I'd give it one more try using the cake release and if it's still sticking, it may be time for a new pan.

Thank you for all the advice. I went to the store to get a new pan.
I do use Pam in my pans. So, instead I bought some cake release to give it one more try. If they stick this time I'm contacting Wilton. I have their mini pan. I always spray the pan when I use it, usually all I have to do is give the brownie a twist and out it pops. I have more in the oven, well see very soon. If not, don't be alrmed when some of you see this pan flying through the air.
I actually called my husband at work and asked if he had cleaned it & how? He replied with" Not since the last time I cleaned a pan & you ripped me a new one. Now I leave them for you if they don't wipe clean with the rag." YEA, Iremember that I think I must have looked like this: icon_evil.gif

Ok, So the brownies turned out great using the cake release and making the house cooler. It's in the 90's this week here. I had the great idea of adding Heath bar crunch to the brownie batter... The whole pan stuck so bad. I don't mind that. I LOVE Heath bar crunch. I'm going to stick with regular brownie batter, but I might try to add some of my english toffee flavored cappuccino dry mix to it just to see what happenes. looks like I might be taking brownie ball along with my cake balls. There is no way I'm going toi leave all of that sugary stuff around my house. If I did I'd wouldn't fit through the front door.
