Wanted to share a picture of the cake I took to the fair. It is not perfect, but I was happy with the flowers. Hope to see what it placed this morning.

It's very pretty. The flowers are perfect. I love the different colors. Good luck at the fair!

I think the flowers saved me--I spent too much time messing with fondant! I received a blue (1st), the division champ for layer cakes, and department champ for baked goods. I also got the award from Wilton for it. Honestly I figured I would get a red if I was that lucky--couldn't do it without help from here!
