My son;s birthday is coming up and i am gonna bake him lightening mcqueen cake using the character pan.
Last year when i baked a scratch cake in the blues clues pan it got stuck even after i had greased the pan really good. My husband had to bring out the hammer too to knock the cake ou of the pan icon_surprised.gif
My question is : Has anyone has luck baking scratch cake in character pans??

i bake scratch cakes all the time in character pans, i grease them very well with margarine - not melted, and a pastry brush. i also let it cool 10mins in the pan before turning out. make sure you tap all over the pan before lifting the pan off.
