Hi everyone! My co-worker asked me to give her prices on making 2x2 petit fours for her bridal shower and I don't have a clue. However, she called the local bakery and they told her $1.03 each, and that's just the single layer petit four iced and decorated. My co-worker thought that was a high price. I didn't think that was expensive, though, considering how much work they are. Someone please tell me what you charge! Thanks!

$1.03 IS CHEAP! If your co-worker thinks that is too expensive, she doesn't know how much work these things are. If she doesn't want to pay at least $1.50, minimum of 2 dozen, suggest she buy them from the bakery.

For 2x2 petite fours, I charge $4.00 each, STARTING. That is for fondant covering and some basic decorating.

Chances are, the petite fours they're talking about are simply dipped...but even $1.03 each is super cheap. You may want to check on that, because they're probably not 2x2's, and they're dipped in poured fondant.
