Hi,
I would like to have a recipe that is not so sweet. Brutter Cream is just to sweet. Something that I can use to ice, decorate and make the flowers. I would also like the Whipped Cream Icing recipe.
Thank you for your help,
Deb

How about this one for Dream Whip Icing:

Dream Whip Icing

2lbs or 1 kg bag of confectioners sugar
1 pkg dream whip
1/2 cup boiling water
1/2 tsp salt
2 cups crisco shortening
2 tsp clear vanilla flavouring
1 Tbsp clear corn syrup

Whip up till fluffy. No need for refrigeration but it is fine in the fridge as well. Tastes great, not so sweet and crusts well.

Nernan, Dream Whip is a powdered mix (add milk and vanilla) to make a Cool-Whip frozen whipped topping type stuff. I understand that the cooked buttercreams (ie Italian or Swiss Meringue) are less sweet than the traditional buttercreams so maybe give one of those a try and see if they pass your taste buds.
