I am just wondering if anyone here is from Canada, and if you have your own cake business. I am currently trying to get as much information on how to start, and all the laws to your own business, but would like to talk with someone who has experienced it. Thanks so much - Niki

Hi I'm from Canada, but in the Province of Quebec. Don't know from what Province you are.. Here, I only needed a permit from the City hall to operate from home, like the hair dressers do here. Then I got registred at business registry of my Province, just so I can deduct fees and everything on my tax report at the end of the year, and so I can do as much publicity as I want! And since my business makes under 30 000$ a year I don't need a tax number(gst or pst) hth go on the government web site there's a lot of info there.
