Yes, there were mistakes, yes, I wish I could have done more detail. But all in all, I think it turned out good. And the customer was very impressed.

That's a great cake. Was that using the new Castle kit from Wilton? I would love to try one of those cakes sometime. How pretty.

No, no wilton mold pans. Fondant and ice cream cones for the towers. square and round pans for the castle centers.

I used a 9" square pans, and 6" rounds on a 19" x 19" cake board. Height?- maybe 18" -20" or more with the top flag?

Again: What would you charge for this cake? Probably about 11-15 hrs. work.

It looks great! thumbs_up.gif I would charge no less than $250 and upwards of $400-$500 depending on the market, number of towers, details, etc. I would have charged $400 for the castle in my tutorial had it not been for my niece. icon_biggrin.gif
