First of all I wanted to say thank you to everyone for all the inspiration I received from browsing the galleries to do this cake. I have never done a cake of this magnitude in size and decorations, but it was a huge hit and I'm very proud of it. I have never had a decorating class, but I have learned so much from this website.

The only major problem I had was with the second layer and the crusting cream cheese icing - I couldn't get it thick enough for the Texas heat, but I finally got it to work - thanks to those for your advice early Sat morning!

This was a 16'' WASC, 12'' strawberry with cream cheese icing and 8'' white cake - fondant decorations with luster dust and lollipop flowers and ladybugs are chocolate made from candy molds. I used a diamond impression mat and gumpaste flowers (that I bought) for the top layer.

This was for my niece's 1st birthday. Thanks for looking.
