Looking For Tuxedo Cookie Cutter!
Baking By cookieswithdots Updated 18 Jun 2007 , 3:49pm by cookieswithdots
Hi-
Any suggestions where I might find a tuxedo cookie cutter? I have found one but it is just so big. Looking for something a little smaller.
Thanks!
Melissa
I had thought about that. There aren't many pictures of these cookies. I use rolled buttercream and I want them to be fairly easy.
Melissa
I have not seen a tuxdeo cookie cutter, only cookies decorated like a tux...
Where did you find a tux cutter?
I didn't find it on www.kitchenkrafts.com
however I did find this one on www.kitchengifts.com

The only other place I would think to find one is on www.coppergifts.com
Yep here is one. If it is to big also they will custom make cookie cuters for you so they may be able to make a smaller one for you.

I didn't realize they made tuxedo cutters like this, I was thinking of the heart made like a tux also.
Oh here is a double heart one, Click on the cookie cutter and it will come up with ways to decorate and one is half tux half dress, very cute.

Thanks everyone for your help. I love the side by side heart!
I've never made my own-- but I think I might give it a try.
Melissa
I did tuxedo cookies made from a heart cookie cutter and used RBC - you can see them in my pictures.
Hi there!
I also have a pic of the heart decorated as a tux. Mine is mostly white with
black accents and bow tie, not too difficult! (I can't stand making BLACK...which is why my tux is white! LOL) You can see it in my photos.
Good Luck!

Those are too cute. That is what I wanted. Are they fairly easy to do? Looks like some cutting. No big deal.
I had been asked to do a wedding so I wanted to be able to figure this out before. I've done lots of cookies so I think I can handle these.
Any hints on doing these?
Melissa
LOL the only cutting involve is the heart shaped cookie cutter! Not hard at aIl!
I will be glad to give any help that is needed!

Did you use rolled buttercream on the cookies? They are just so cute and exactly what I had in mind.
Melissa
Melissa,
They are all RI...no RBC. I did the base first, then added detail when it dried!

I guess I could still use the rolled buttercream, since that's what I'm really good at. Maybe it just might take a little longer.
