We have dsl through our electric company. I love the phone line is free, but it's $35 a month. They're always having problems with it. They've lost a lot of customers. We had to sign a one year agreement with them, and that one year is just about up.

I'm looking for a new internet.


Does anyone know of any good ones?

I just have old dial up at home. Bellsouth DSL here at work and I like it. good luck

I'm not sure what area you are in but if you have Time Warner cable, I highly suggest you get RoadRunner....is the best!

We had RR for a while, but they kept letting pornographic e-mails through so we went with SBC DSL and have had no problem with it at all. We were paying $25.95 a month, but because we upgraded to high speed, we are now paying $17.95 per month for a year.

Actually RR has nothing to do with the porn getting through your email....if you use the spam blocker that RR has on their website then it won't happen....

In our area we have fiber optics. I love it! It's rather expensive, but oh so worth it! We have the slowest computer in the world, but with such a fast internet connection we hardly notice!

I have a package through my cable company. I have Cable, and my Cable modem, and my phone service through them (One rate local and long distance). It's a great package. The total is $100/month. The internet is very fast, and I hardly ever have problems. It's through Charter Communications.
