I just love all the details. I especially like the mothers day cake with the teapot, cups, etc.
She is also VERY nice! I have already asked her a question and she was very quick to answer, and very kind about it!!
She does wonderful work, and I'm glad she has joined us!!

OH MY GOD!! I have just found this thread and I am blown away by all of your comments. Thank you all so much. I am soooooo glad to have found this site in the first place and I will keep adding pictures for you to enjoy. I am currently working on a Christening cake with Winnie the Pooh and friends on it which will be different to say the least. I look forward to sharing it with you. I'm glad to share any knowledge I have. It's a thrill for me to know that I have some!

aine2....your work is totally awesome, I so admire your talent that it just makes me want to strive to do better and more detailed work on my own cakes. What an inspiration you are to me, thank you so much for sharing your photos and yourself...I was feeling kinda drab and stuck in a rut so far as my cakes and teaching my classes went till I saw yours and "WOWZERS" is all I can say girl, what a wake up call indeed, you got me all fired up again and wanting to take my cake decorating skills to another level!!! Your cakes are so beautiful...looking forward to seeing more of your work. You certainly got my interest to keep coming back to this site and your web site as well.

aine2~ your cakes are truly incredible! I LOVE the birthday cake with the couple in the jacuzzi...the details on that cake are awesome, I love how you added a "glow" from the candles and little splashes of water and champagne!!!
Thankyou for all of your comments. If you are viewing my website then you will know that some of the designs in the birthday gallery are not entirely my own but have been adapted from those of designers who I admire, mainly Debbie Brown I have to say. The couple in the tub was mostly drawn from her original version. I just lessened the amount of people in it and changed little things.
I am so grateful for all of the personal messages and feedback from my work. The same questions are coming up constantly....how do you make your figures? I have thought about putting a little slideshow together (don't know how long that will take and when I'll find the time!) but it's an idea. I could try and show step by step and show the tools I use...my hands! I don't use molds of any kind for anything that I do. Honest everyone!! Anyway, the slideshow is a thought. Would it interest anyone?

oh my aine! all of us would be looking forward to it..im sure! 100%! take your time (meaning, hurry up! )...i tried doing a simple figure from clay doh last night and it scared my 2 y/o
