Ok , this is probably the silliest question but,, what attachment do you use to mix buttercream? Is it the whisk type or the bread paddle thingy... I;ve been use the one that looks like a big whisk.. is that right? thks
( for not laughing,,, ha ha )
I use the paddle for buttercream and just about everything else too! The only thing I think I use the whisk for is beating egg whites or whipped cream.
thanks,, that would make a lot more sense.. because i have the hardest time with the buttercream stuck all in the otherone.. thank you for replying..
I currently use the whisk but I am going to switch to the paddle to see if I get less air bubbles in my buttercream.
Definitely use the paddle - the wisk is for incorporating air, like for meringue, whipped cream, etc.
thanks ,, that might would explain alot about my buttercream.. although i haven't gotten any complaints.. sometimes it just doesn't look right to me... i can't wait to go home and make some now... Thanks everybody..
I use the paddle to make my buttercream. If I need to incorporate air for egg whites, I use the whisk.
