Have you checked with your local council or shire? Maybe they can help?

No, I might give my council a call. I tried my house insurers and they don't cover home business insurance, and I got referred to another company who said they do small business not home based business. They said to speak to a broker, but I can't find one that does this field.
I have only found a rural insurance company who I have sent an email to.
Are any Aussies out there insured for public liability and product liablilty for their home kitchens?
I am not really concerned about stock insurance eg. House burning down and losing stuff, cos I buy as I go and dont' have too many pans or so I keep telling myself!

Have you tried the Cake Dec Association or Guild? They have members who do a couple of cakes a year to full blown businesses. Maybe someone there could help you or send you in the right direction icon_smile.gif

That's a good idea Sparkkepop. I will try them too.
I have managed to find one company who will give me a quote today. Fingers crossed that it is affordable.
