I have an order for the volcano cake in my pictures, except they need the bottom to be 12 inches instead of 9. It is for a friend, so I may charge her a little less than I would charge anyone else, but I'm curious as to how much I would charge a regular customer. I did this cake for my sons birthday last year, so I didn't even think about pricing. DH said $30, which I think it way too low. Thanks!

Jen: if it were me, I would charge somewhere around $60 for the cake & cookies for a customer. Very cute by the way.

That is about what I was thinking...I'm going to stop asking dh about pricing. He always goes too low. Thanks!

A 12" alone serves 50 (double layer) not counting any additional cake for the top of the volcano, and cookies, etc.

You will probably lose money if you let it go for less than $1 per serving.
