For those of you who have made the dinosaur cake using the instructions from "Sweet Dreams by Tracy" (http://sdbytracy.com/dragoncake.htm)
I have a few questions, please:

1. Approximately, how big does this end up being? I'm trying to figure out a cake board and have no idea how big it's going to get.

2. Do you just basically keep adding pieces together with icing until you get the basic shape?

3. Any other tips?

Thanks!

According to her web site, she estimates needing a 14x20-inch cake board. I'd start from there and carve my dinosaur to fit.

We made that cake, and it turned out huge, but I do believe we cut it and pieced it to fit the largest size rectangle cake board by Wilton.

Thanks! I didn't see the board size, but I saw it only got 20 or so servings and that didn't seem so big. I guess it depends how thick the dino is and how much extra you use for the "parts".
