Wooooohoooooo!! Yippppeeeee!! Got a phone call today from Taste of Home Magazine. The results are in and my cake took second place. The picture is in my photos. It's the Christmas present and ornaments. I am soooo excited. It will be published in the August/September issue. I told them that I found out about the contest on the CC site. She said she was going to check it out. She also said that they had more entries for this contest than they have had in the past. I'm sure that CC had something to do with that.

I guess I didn't win anything. I entered one of my cakes for the all floral category I made the whole two tiered cake out of buttercream and royal icing. Bah humbug! ha ha.

I haven't heard of this Taste for Homes magazine. Where can I pick up a copy at?

You can get this magazine by subscription for sure. I've seen a smaller version of this magazine for sale at Wal Mart but not the same one you get as a subscription.
