We're from all over Australia, but I personally am in Sydney myself, and funnily enough from Dutch parentage!
There are are couple of places to get supplies in Sydney there's a shop called Bakery Sugarcraft, which you can visit or shop on line from. There's a place in Melbourne called Cake Deco and I've just discovered Earlscraftncake as a fab source for cutters and moulds, I believe they're in Melbourne also, you can shop online with both.
I think some of the girls also source some products from the US and UK, of course, you need to be careful with postage and obviously money conversion. If you leave family and friends behind in the Netherlands, it may be worth getting them to purchase items from the UK and send them to you. You'll need to see what works for you.
Anyway again Welcome, this site is an amazing place for inspiration, tips, treasures and advice.

Welcome! when are you moving? Its winter here at the moment but our winters are fairly mild especially up north where I am. I grew up in Sydney but now I live on the north coast of NSW.
If you haven't already tried mudcake you will definitely have to give it a go it is very very popular here. I get most of my decorating supplies online since I'm in a regional area but the link that nicolevoorhout posted has a fair bit of info about where to buy stuff there are a few CC'ers in Sydney.
I hope all goes well with the big move and if you have the chance when you get here to take a holiday there are plenty of nice places to visit especially on the coast (I love the beach)

Welcome to CC and welcome to Australia. When are you moving over? I am in Melbourne. As the other ladies have mentioned, there are many good cake decorating stores that sell their products online.

Hi Sabine and welcome! I am from Sydney too. It is easy enough to get cake ingredients and stuff here. However we don't have cake flour, only self-raising and plain (ie all purpose). The plain is pretty low in protein compared with other countries so it is alright for cakes. Some ingredients you have to track down in catering supply places.
