If a recipe calls for 6 oz. of chocolate squares...how many squares is that? Each square usually has two rectangle pieces right? Sorry...whenever I bake I use cocoa powder, but want to try a recipe that uses melted chocolate!

i think each square is 3 oz it should tell you on the package like it should say something like 6 3oz squares.

really? this one recipe that I found for chocolate cupcakes (makes 1icon_cool.gif calls for 3 oz chopped chocolate....that doesn't seem like enough chocolate to me! lol

i don't know why there's a cool face there, but I meant to say that it makes 18!

lol well the baking chocolate is a bit stronger in taste than what we are use to eating. Double check your package of chocolate though i may be wrong on the size of each square.
