Help With Whipped Cream Frosting

How do I keep whipped cream frosting to stay firm and easy to frost a cake??? are there any other products out there that are similar in taste but produces a consistent and reliable texture?? icon_smile.gif

You can add a pkg og gelatin that has been softened in water according to pkg directions, This will "stabilize" your whipped cream. There is also a product on the market called "WHIP IT" by Oetker. It is also a stablizer. Some like to use "Bettercream" which is a non dairy (I think) but you can add heavy cream to it (2 to 1 ratio heavy cream to bettercream) to get more of that real whipped cream taste. HTH!!
