She made this really adorable cake for her best friend for her birthday today, it turned out WONDERFUL (It's in her photos, Sweetooth123). Well, we were going the mile down the road to deliver it and the construction zone was nothing but POTHOLES, and the entire top layer of her cake slid off ---halfway to her friends house! I almost cried for her, it took her like 4 hours to decorate it not including the baking, she worked soooo hard on it and it was ruined! We got to her friends house and I borrowed a spoon and tried to put the layer back on as best as I could. Apparently it didn't matter too much, they all raved about her cake, and I was so proud, she did every little thing herself, even baking it!!!!!
Aaawwwww, poor thing - that is really a shame.
But at least all her friends enjoyed it anyway so I am sure that would
have helped to lift her spirits a bit, no?
I wanna cry for her too

Ahhh, figured it out! Her cake is beautiful! 
And your DD looks precious too. I'm so impressed that she can do so well at 9 yrs old! I'm sorry for the mishap while driving, but I'm glad her friends loved it anyway.
