I have a shower cake in a couple of weeks and the nursery is going to be light yellow and sage green.

I was wondering if anyone has any recommendations on what coloring to work with to make both of those?!

Thank you in advance.

For the sage green, I use small amounts on a toothpick of leaf green, juniper green and just a tiny dab of brown. Start off with very small amounts to keep it light toned and then if you want it darker you can always add more.

For pale yellow, I like to mix a little bit of lemon yellow and buttercup yellow. The buttercup yellow is a deep golden color rather than the bright yellow. I find that mixing the two in small amounts tones down the lemon yellow but isn't a dark golden color.

Goodluck!!

is there a coloring chart here on the site to go by? I find it fascinating how to make all the different colors out there.
