I'm new to MMF and I love working with it so far. One of my problems though is that when the whole cake is done.....how do you get it to look all nice and clean? I mean as far as powdered sugar is concerned. When my cakes are done.....you can still see a lot of it.

I'm sorry, I don't quite understand...
how is it that you can see the powdered sugar in the fondant?

I use cornstarch. I find it much easier to brush off (with a dry paintbrush or a paper towel) than the powdered sugar - plus it stays silky too with less stickage. Just be careful though, I'm now learning that too much cornstarch can dry your MMF out!

Good luck!

Some people use cornstarch for rolling, but it can dry the fondant. I roll on a lightly greased surface- no dry spots.

You can sometimes rub them out with your hands, being careful not to make finger marks.
