Substitution For Dream Whip?

I have noticed that a lot of recipe's call for Dream Whip, is there a substitution I can use? I will be buying a lot of Dream Whip if not!

In doubt you can sub creamer for Dream Whip. DW is a dry whipped dessert topping. There are lots of great recipes that do not call for DW. It just takes some experimenting.
